Hi there, my name is Kerry and to say I'm crazy about all things having to do with dogs is well...a bit of an understatement.  I started Bark at the Moon Photography because, plain and simply, I love dogs.   I have always done anything and everything I could to help make a difference for any dog in need. I am able to make that difference with my photography by raising and donating funds to local Shelters and Rescues. I also take photos of adoptable dogs and cats and any other fuzzy creature who may need help finding a place to call home.

My love for animals has been a part of my heart and soul for as long as I can remember. If you invite me over I will most likely hang out with your dog and talk about how adorable and unique they are the entire time. Dogs seem to find me no matter where I go but I don't mind I can say I have furry friends all over the place.  I have 2 pups, their names are Susu and Sameo (pronounced Soo Soo and Sah Me O).  Believe it or not I also have a cat named Little, I know what a creative name but she got her name because she is, you guessed it, little.   I can't imagine my life without them.  I cherish every moment we share together and love all the special things that make them who they are. I know you feel the exact same way!

Here's the technical stuff about me...I began volunteering at the MSPCA in Springfield in 2006. Once the MSPCA closed I started volunteering at the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center (TJO) also in Springfield.  The TJO is where I started to do photos of adoptables waiting to start their forever, it's where Bark at the Moon was born. I've also volunteered my time and photography for PittieLove Rescue, Broken Tail Rescue, Kane's Krusade, Massachusetts Vest A Dog, Animatch and The Westfield Animal Shelter. I'm an approved Behavior Observation Case Worker through Massachusetts Animal Coalition for a program called Animatch.

Through all the years I've been in love with dogs and done photography, I've always taken photos of the ones that touch my heart... Dogs have beautifully pure souls and want nothing more than to be your everything. That soul and unique spirit is what I try and capture with my photography for you to hold onto for many years to come.
